CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AT UTS:
We are seeking experienced and suitably qualified Preschool Teachers to join our international teaching team for the 2026–27 academic year at the Van Lang (Go Vap) Campus.

Successful applicants will work within the Preschool Division, delivering age-appropriate instruction aligned with the school’s early-years framework. Teachers will support children in the Preschool programme , focusing on early language development, foundational academic skills, and social-emotional growth.

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 16:45PM.
  • Deliver Preschool instruction within the International Program, aligned with approved early-years frameworks, as assigned by the school.
  • Teach up to 30 teaching periods per week, plus 2 fixed ECA or activity periods (35 minutes per period).
  • Support children in the Preschool programme (approximately 4–5 years old) through developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
  • Work collaboratively with local teaching assistants in daily classroom routines, learning activities, and care duties to ensure a safe and engaging environment.
  • Plan lessons, prepare materials, and adapt activities to meet the developmental needs of young learners.
  • Maintain accurate student records and update learning progress in the school’s LMS as required.
  • Ensure a safe, nurturing, and well-managed classroom environment in line with safeguarding standards.
  • Communicate with parents during scheduled reporting cycles and parent–teacher meetings, with support from relevant colleagues.
  • Participate in school events, professional development activities, and whole-school initiatives.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in response to timetable adjustments or coverage needs arising from operational requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Education, preferably in Early Childhood Education.
  • Professional Teaching qualification/license/certification as applicable.
  • Fluent English Speaker (Minimum C1 Fluency).     
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in early childhood education, gained in a recognized school or early-years setting.

Experiences, Skills & other requirements

  • For non-native English speakers: a valid IELTS certificate (minimum overall score 8.0) or an accepted equivalent English proficiency qualification is required at the time of application.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a nurturing, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children.
  • Familiarity with early-years pedagogy, including play-based learning, emergent language development, and social-emotional learning.
  • Strong classroom management grounded in positive reinforcement and relationship-based practices suitable for young learners.
  • Competence in basic educational technology and the creation of age-appropriate visual and interactive learning materials.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills when working with teaching assistants, parents, and school leadership.
